Understanding Alexithymia in Autistic and ADHD Children and Teens

Understanding Alexithymia in Autistic and ADHD Children and Teens

October 30 @ 17:30 21:00 UTC+12

Alexithymia is a difficulty with identifying or describing emotions and a common co-occurring condition that affects Autistics and ADHDers.

Alexithymia can impact your tween or teen’s ability to describe how they are feeling, know what they are feeling or interpret the emotional cues of others. It can not only impact the way our children relate to others but can seriously impact their self-esteem, especially if they struggle with RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria) too.

In this 90-minute Masterclass, we will be exploring:

  • What Alexithymia is.
  • The ways in which Alexithymia can affect your child or teen.
  • Practical ways to support our children and teens with their Alexithymia.

Suitable for all parents and educators of Autistic or ADHD children and teens.

Move through the session interactively or watch the recording afterwards as provided.

A Completion Certificate is provided to participants of the Masterclass.

Cost $55 NZD or Pay What You Can as part of our Ethical Pricing Offer.
