Hi, I’m Tanya Valentin — an AuDHD parent, family coach, author, speaker and podcast host, specialises in providing burnout support for parents.
I am the founder of From Burnout to Balance, a global community supporting parents of neurodivergent children and teens in burnout.
My work sits at the intersection of nervous system science, low-demand parenting, and deep, compassionate reflection.
I support parents to move away from pressure, urgency, and self-blame and toward safety, connection, and trust, both within their families and within themselves.
My approach is shaped not only by my professional background in education and facilitation but by my lived experience of parenting through profound burnout, grief, and uncertainty.
It was in these seasons that I began to question the cultural stories many of us have inherited about parenting, productivity, and worth, and to gently reimagine what care can look like when we centre our humanity.
I am the author of Tiny Anchors: Small Moments of Care for Parents in Burnout, and the creator of the Tiny Anchors framework, small, steady moments of support designed to meet parents where they are, especially in the long, invisible middle of burnout recovery.
My work has reached thousands of families around the world through my writing, podcasting, workshops, and community spaces.
At the heart of everything I create is a simple belief: That parenting was never meant to be carried alone and that healing happens, slowly and safely, in spaces where we are truly held.
I live in New Zealand with her family, where I continue to write, reflect, and walk alongside parents navigating the complexities of neurodivergent family life.
