Do you feel like you lost yourself since your neurodivergent child went into burnout?

You’re not the only one.

Held is a series of monthly, parent circles created to support parents navigating burnout, grief, and the inner transformation that is a natural part of raising neurodivergent children (especially when they are in burnout).

Parenting through burnout can quietly unravel your identity, certainty and plans for the future. It is normal to find yourself questioning where you belong.

Many parents find themselves carrying grief, exhaustion, and questions that don’t have neat answers. Held exists for those moments, when what’s needed most isn’t advice, but presence.

These spaces offer you a space to slow down, soften, and be met, exactly as you are in this moment of your life.

Each circle offers a nervous-system-safe, facilitated space where parents can reflect, listen, share if they wish, and feel less alone in the inner work this journey brings.

Held - Soul-led parenting circles

What Held Is (And Is Not)

Held is:

  • HELD is a place for parents who have reached the edge of old ways of coping and need somewhere steady to land.

  • A facilitated, gentle space for parents navigating burnout, grief, and change.

  • Grounded in nervous system safety, grief-informed care, and compassion

  • Designed for reflection, meaning-making, and gentle connection

  • Drop-in and non-linear, each circle stands alone

Held is not

  • Therapy, counselling, or crisis support

  • Religious, faith-based or overtly spiritual. The circles are inclusive, reflective spaces grounded in nervous system safety and lived experience

  • A program you need to complete, progress through, or keep up with

  • A coaching or problem-solving session

You’re welcome to attend one gathering, a few, or many, in any order, and at your own pace.

What You Can Expect

In a Held circle, you may experience:

  • A calm, grounded space to slow down and exhale

  • Gentle facilitation with clear boundaries and consent

  • Optional reflection prompts or writing invitations

  • The freedom to speak, listen, or simply be present

  • A sense of being witnessed without judgement or expectation

Nothing is required of you except your presence.

Who Held Is For

Held is for parents who:

  • Are navigating burnout, grief, or identity change

  • Are raising autistic, PDA, or neurodivergent children

  • Feel called to inner work that is gentle, grounded, and non-performative

  • Want community without an ongoing commitment, comparison, pressure, or fixing

If you’re unsure whether this space is right for you, you’re invited to listen to that uncertainty with kindness. Held will still be here.

How To Join

Held circles are offered monthly and are available to join individually.
You don’t need to attend every circle or follow a sequence.
